WATERFORD Today you travel south to Waterford. At the renowned Waterford Crystal Visitor Experience, watch master craftsmen at work in the centuries-old tradition of glass cutting and engraving. The “Experience” will take you through the fascinating journey through Waterford’s heritage, from 1783 to present day. Afterwards, take a walking tour of Waterford with a local guide. You vist Reginald's Tower, the oldest civic urban structure in Ireland and has played a pivotal role in the country's history. The precursor of this tower is believed to be Dundory, a Viking fortification built on this site during the 10th century. It was also used as a mint, prison and military store. It has been restored and now houses an exhibition. Afterwards, return to your hotel.
