GALWAY – CONNEMARA Depart on a full day excursion to the Galway region and Connemara. Drive through amazing countryside of misty mountains and beautiful lakes. Visit the 19th century neo-Gothic Kylemore Abbey, see the exquisite chapel. Onwards for a stop at the Connemara Celtic Crystal Factory for a personally conducted tour of their Showroom which includes an informative and entertaining talk on the Historical and Cultural background of our uniquely crafted designs, such as the “Claddagh Ring”, Celtic designs, the “Brian Boru Harp”, and the “Tara Brooch” will be given. This will be followed by a demonstration of all that is best in the Art of Glass Cutting where visitors can witness the creation of a unique piece of crystal by our master craftsmen. Afterwards, depart and make your way to Galway where you enjoy a panoramic tour, followed by some free time to explore the shops, cafés and pubs in Shop and Quay Streets. Later, return to Adare.
