- Limerick City (15 min) – The Republic of Ireland’s third largest city, Limerick has a beautiful location on one of Irelands most picturesque rivers, the River Shannon. With sights and attractions such as the internationally renowned Hunt Museum and the famous 800-year-old King Johns Castle, Limerick city is a great option for a daily excursion. The city is also packed with excellent shops, wonderful restaurants and plenty of surrounding sights
